What does “Cara” mean?
In Irish, cara means friend. In Italian, cara means dear or beloved. CaraLink is exactly that: a link between dear friends.
Born from experience
We're a family that's moved. A lot. Each time, finding a home was the easy part. Finding your people? That took forever.
Our daughter is young, and we quickly learned that even after building a great group of parent friends, actually getting playdates on the calendar was its own headache. Group texts, back-and-forth about availability, figuring out where to go. It felt like a part-time job just to get the kids together.
The apps that existed were either “Tinder for moms” matchers, fun to swipe but brutal when it came to actually getting the kids together, or noisy neighborhood feeds where your post vanished under lost-dog alerts and school-closure rants. None solved both problems in the same place.
So we built CaraLink. One app for finding your people and actually getting together with them.
What we believe
Proximity matters
The best friendships happen with families close enough for spontaneous hangs. Not a 45-minute drive across town.
Parents deserve friendships too
Kids' ages aren't enough. We match on shared interests, parenting styles, and the things that make you actually want to hang out with someone.
Safety is non-negotiable
Every account is email-verified. Your exact location is never shared. We're COPPA-compliant and built with families in mind from day one.
From screen to sandbox
We're not a social media platform. CaraLink is designed to get families off the app and into real life, fast.
Ready for your first playdate?
Whether you're scheduling with friends or meeting new families nearby, it's free and takes 2 minutes to set up.
