Your family's safety is the foundation everything else is built on. Here's exactly how we protect you, your kids, and your data.
Identity Verification
Every parent on CaraLink goes through identity verification powered by Checkr, a trusted third-party provider. This confirms you're connecting with real people, not fake profiles.
How it works
Create your profile
Sign up and add your family info. Takes about 2 minutes.
Verify your identity
You'll be directed to Checkr's secure portal to confirm your identity with a government ID and selfie.
Get your verified badge
Once confirmed, a verified badge appears on your profile. Other families can see you're the real deal.
What “Verified” Means
When you see a verified badge on a parent's profile, it means:
Their government-issued ID has been checked against their selfie
Their name matches a real person
Verification was completed through Checkr's secure, independent process
Verification confirms identity only. It does not guarantee behavior. Always use your judgment and report anything that feels off.
Community Guidelines
CaraLink is a space for families to connect with respect and kindness. Our guidelines are simple:
Be real. Use your actual name and photos. Represent your family honestly.
Be respectful. Treat every family the way you'd want yours to be treated.
Keep kids safe. Never share other children's photos or information without their parent's consent.
No solicitation. CaraLink is for playdates, not sales pitches or MLM recruiting.
Report concerns. If something feels wrong, report it. We review every report personally.

How to Report or Block
You're always in control. If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can report or block them instantly.
To report a user:
Open their profile, tap the three-dot menu, select “Report.” Choose a reason and submit. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours.
To block a user:
Open their profile, tap “Block.” They won't be able to message you, see your profile, or appear in your matches. Blocking is immediate and silent.
Urgent safety concerns:
Email safety@caralink.com for anything requiring immediate attention. If you or your child are in danger, call 911 first.
